I first met baby Maclean’s mom and dad when I photographed their wedding several years ago and to come full circle and photograph their first little baby boy, well, it’s an absolute honor. Their beautiful home in Edina Minnesota was the perfect cozy backdrop for this snuggly newborn session, smack in the middle of a Minnesota winter. Nothing beats snuggling a newborn in the winter. Having your baby sleep heart to heart all cozied inside, there’s not a lot of things that can beat that, except maybe doing the same thing on a warm beach somewhere, but that’s where all our heads are at this time of year in Minnesota. So the next best thing one can do is dream about it.
